PostRank’s Real Time Engagement Metrics for Bloggers
Just heard from Jim Murphy (@jimmurphy), VP development of PostRank, an innovative Waterloo, Canada-based startup providing some solid social media analytics tools for bloggers.
The PostRank Analytics system is razor-focused on making sense of social engagement data on the web.
Get your blog signed up and enter up to your existing Google Analytics account plus your Twitter username and PostRank goes to work. The result is real time updates on your pageviews, your engagement score as well as Twitter statistics. For individual blog entries the breadth and scope of information is even more impressive. Total pageviews, uniques, bounce rates and average time on the post per entry plus how many Tweets have resulted from the post, how many comments it received as well as any FriendFeed of Reddit activity. It’s an easy, elegant and effective way to take the pulse of blogs and social networks.
Here’s a short video overview of PostRank’s system.
“The goal for the application is to bring together the traditional key metrics (pageviews, bounce rates, etc), and enhance it with the engagement and social data to help publishers connect with their audience,” says Ilya Grigorik (@igrigorik), PostRank’s Founder / CTO.
Install it and give it a go. Would love to get your feedback?
