00:04:28.400 And the key is is to add the constraints
00:04:30.160 and what you’re actually asking for. So,
00:04:31.759 if you’re saying, "Hey, create me some
00:04:33.040 videos. Here’s the tone. Here’s the
00:04:34.800 structure. Here’s what I want it to talk
00:04:36.720 about." Then, we build the output into a
00:04:39.520 canvas so that I can refine it. It’s

00:05:20.880 structure. These things are things I’m
00:05:22.800 going to talk about in a second, but
00:05:24.240 it’s the instruction language of the AI
00:05:26.560 that allows you to guide it to actually
00:05:28.639 make it do exactly what you want it to
00:05:30.400 do. Then you just save that system
00:05:32.320 prompt as a PDF just like you did a
00:05:34.240 master prompt. So you can use it anytime
00:05:36.160 you want. It acts like a stencil. You
00:05:38.400 just keep using it anytime you want it
00:05:39.840 and it does the thing. Now, I want to
00:05:41.440 give you a pro tip for prompting because
00:05:44.000 what most people don’t realize there’s
00:05:45.520 like seven key words that if you use
00:05:47.840 it’ll change the output of Chad GPT to
00:05:50.720 execute exactly as [music] you want it.
00:05:52.479 So, here’s the framework. First one is
00:05:54.320 act as role. So, you set the expertise
00:05:56.400 or the voice. For example, you can say
00:05:58.479 act as a world-class copywriter. Next,
00:06:00.800 there’s do a deep research. Just hit

00:06:04.639 This tells the AI to do a deep search,
00:06:07.360 aggregate all the information, verify,
00:06:09.440 cross reference, and synthesize with any
00:06:11.600 citations what it’s found. Next, there’s
00:06:14.160 first principles. When you tell it to
00:06:16.319 use first principles to go do research,
00:06:18.560 it decomposes everything into the
00:06:20.319 fundamentals and actually teaches it how
00:06:22.560 to break the steps apart and then
00:06:24.000 rebuilds the answer based on truths. The
00:06:26.479 next one is devil’s advocate. This is my
00:06:28.639 favorite because I think GPT for the
00:06:30.319 most part is way too nice. But you can
00:06:32.160 actually tell it to stress test your
00:06:34.000 assumptions, list risks about things,
00:06:36.240 failure modes, and give you a
00:06:37.600 counterargument by telling it to act
00:06:39.199 like a devil’s advocate. Next is [music]
00:06:40.880 constraints first. Most people don’t set
00:06:44.000 the constraints in regards to time,
00:06:45.600 budgets, timelines, the tools. But if
00:06:48.000 every reply is based on anything that’s
00:06:50.319 possible, but I don’t tell it to give it
00:06:52.080 the constraints first, [music]
00:06:53.199 then it’s not going to be specific to my
00:06:54.880 situation. The next one is format as.
00:06:57.520 This is one I use almost 100% of the
00:06:59.280 time where I tell it to format the
00:07:01.520 return using a strict structure. I’m a
00:07:04.080 big fan of YAML, JSON if I’m doing code
00:07:06.479 stuff, PDF we just did. You can even
00:07:08.639 tell it to put it in a table or a
00:07:10.319 numbered bullet list. But when we
00:07:12.160 specify the format, it allows us to take
00:07:14.319 the information and use it in other
00:07:15.840 tools or just be able to copy and paste
00:07:17.840 it into an SMS to reply to somebody a
00:07:20.160 lot easier. Finally, verify and site.

00:07:45.440 projects going on right now? Cool. Are
00:07:47.039 you using the project folders? No. You
00:07:49.199 should see to really blow up your
00:07:51.039 business with Chad GBT, use projects to

00:07:55.280 working on for each department. I use it
00:07:58.000 for everything. I use it for investment

00:08:36.479 page 67, the gross margins went down
00:08:39.200 after you launched this new ad
00:08:40.559 campaign." That’s amazing. and I just
00:08:43.200 tell it to write it in the tone of Dan
00:08:44.640 Martell cuz it knows who I am and it
00:08:46.399 writes the email reply saving me
00:08:48.560 literally hours. So, here’s how you can
00:08:50.880 set up project folders for yourselves.
00:08:52.720 First off, on the left side of your chat
00:08:54.560 GBT, it literally says projects. Click
00:08:57.440 new projects and give it a name. So, for
00:08:59.360 example, new email campaign and you’ll
00:09:03.519 have all of the creative, your brand
00:09:05.600 guidelines, your style guides,
00:09:07.120 everything, your tonality, your market
00:09:08.800 research, your ICPS. can upload all
00:09:10.560 those marketing documents and then you
00:09:12.240 could say based on this new campaign,
00:09:14.640 write the emails that I’m going to want
00:09:16.480 to put together to get your list to do
00:09:18.320 whatever. Then it’s going to respond
00:09:21.200 with the specific emails using all the
00:09:24.399 information that it had in that
00:09:25.680 document. And again, if you have a
00:09:27.120 master prompt for your role, if you’re
00:09:28.560 the head of marketing, then upload that
00:09:30.560 as well because it’s going to use that
00:09:32.480 context. [music] The output, email
00:09:35.040 campaigns, ads, proposals are only going
00:09:37.519 to be as good as the information, the
00:09:39.839 context it has about your specific
00:09:41.839 situation. And projects let you isolate
00:09:43.920 it. The best part, if it’s an ongoing
00:09:45.920 project, every chat you’ve had for
00:09:48.240 different pieces that you want it to
00:09:49.680 build will use that information to
00:09:52.080 actually perfect the response on future
00:09:54.240 chats within that project. The key
00:09:56.640 concept here is compounding context. The
00:09:59.680 more context that compounds, the better
00:10:01.600 the response are going to be. Now,
00:10:03.519 projects are great, but what if you want
00:10:05.519 to update your whole company’s contacts?
00:10:08.160 Number five, update your custom
00:10:10.000 instructions to really blow up your
00:10:12.640 business with Chad GBT. Update your

00:10:49.440 can copy and paste. You can even say
00:10:51.200 respond in eighth grade language at all
00:10:53.200 times to be direct and avoid fluff. You

00:11:02.160 answers that way every time. That’ll

00:12:31.120 that prompt, put it into a custom GPT,
00:12:33.680 grabbed the link, and I shared that.
00:12:35.360 That is a beautiful use of a custom GPT.
00:12:37.680 So, here’s how you can set up a custom
00:12:39.279 GPT. And it’s easy because you already
00:12:40.959 have all the ingredients. Number one, go
00:12:42.639 to Chad GBT, click GPTs, and in the top
00:12:45.360 right corner, you’ll see create. So,
00:12:47.040 click that. Little fun fact, you can’t
00:12:49.120 do it on the mobile app. So, what I do
00:12:50.720 on my mobile phone is I go to a browser,
00:12:53.040 and then you just kind of scroll over in
00:12:54.720 the browser on JBT and you can click
00:12:56.720 create from there. You just can’t do it
00:12:58.320 from within the app today. Second thing
00:13:00.399 is you want to input the instructions.
00:13:02.240 This is the system prompt you created
00:13:04.160 earlier. You can put that in there.
00:13:06.000 Plus, if you want, you can upload the
00:13:07.680 master prompt with all the context by
00:13:09.760 clicking upload files under the
00:13:11.279 knowledge section. Then once you’ve
00:13:13.040 created it, you get a link and you can
00:13:15.120 set it to anyone or just the people that
00:13:17.360 have the link. And then you can share
00:13:18.720 with anyone to try it and use it. I do
00:13:21.040 sit here and preview those chats just to
00:13:23.200 make sure that it’s doing what I think
00:13:24.320 it’s doing. But once it’s really locked
00:13:26.160 and loaded, I’ll go and pilot it with a
00:13:28.000 smaller group of people to make sure it
00:13:29.360 works for them. Then I’ll roll it out to
00:13:31.040 the rest of the company using Slack. The
